Experience of a lifetime! Wow, two months in Pokhara sharing in and contributing to daily life at the Innocent Children Home orphanage – what a privilege and a delight. My son Nathan and I loved becoming part of this big family and would do it all over again in a heartbeat. We experienced all the ups and downs to be expected when caring for ten children between 15 months and 11 years old – accidents, squabbles, tears, fun, games, laughter, all combining to make a rewarding experience. I would thoroughly recommend anyone, young or old, to take time to volunteer at the orphanage. The children have heartbreaking backgrounds but are now being provided with a stable and happy home. Every volunteer can bring their own talents, strengths, and most importantly love to the home. What you contribute will be unique and will be valuable in its own way.
